District of Columbia- friend had gun but then placed it behind the passenger's seat when pulled over by the police. I was the passenger in the car that belong to me. How should I plead since the gun did not belong to me?. Should I go to trial.

You should get a competent criminal defense counsel who can advise you on what you should probably do after he or she has had a chance to review the relevant facts and evidence pertaining to the pending charge against you.
