Legal Question in Criminal Law in District of Columbia

I recently gotten arrested and charged with possession with the intent to distribute and possession of marijuana. I have never been charged with any drug charge or any charge for that matter. The drugs were in my car and were not mine. There were a few of people in and out of my car around that time and someone left it in there i assume by mistake what do I do?

You need to get a lawyer immediately to look at the case and start working on it. There may be any number of ways to get it dismissed short of you testifying that you didnt know the weed was in the car.
