It all depends on a number of factors. If the divorce is uncontested as to the divorce and division of marital assets and liabilities, it should not take that long. However, be mindful, the court's calendar may be the biggest impediment to finalize the divorce. Also, remember, if a child is born to the marriage, the husband is the presumptive father. This should to be resolved in the divorce. You don't want this paternity problem to crop up later in the form of child support.
