Used car

I bought a car about 40 days ago. The agent guranteed DC inspection. The car is now parked, undrivable. The agent won't return calls. What can I do?

You could sue the seller in DC Small Claims and Conciliation Court if you paid up to $5K for the vehicle and the seller now refuses to honor a valid and enforceable guarantee under DC law.

However, if your purchase price paid exceeded $5K, your case would then need to be filed in the regular Civil Division of the DC Superior Court for which you might require the services of an attorney to represent you in the matter.
