abusive conditional resident husband

I am an US Citizen that got married to a Jamaican citizen, My husband is a conditional resident which will be expire on Dec 21, 2008. However this is my situation he has abuse me many times to the point where I called the police and got him arrested, he's now on probation until Aug, due back in court in oct he also has a protective order against him. I was pregnant with his child which I lost because of the stress and the abuse. he has now moved out of our home telling me he no longer wants to be married and love me.I would like to know - his removal of conditional resident is coming up in October, what exactly will happen to him, also if I start the divorcing procedures before the end of the 2 years what will happen to his case. if anyone been in this situation please let me know, what can i do to stop him from getting his green card. What can I do now to prepare myself? please help.

What happens to him will likely depend upon all of the adverse information which the USCIS has on him(if any) at the time of his interview

with the case officer regarding the removal of his conditional status.

And, if you as his spouse and sponsor for LPRS for some reason have not co-signed and endorsed his I-751 application, USCIS will also want to know the reason for that.
