Legal Question in Immigration Law in District of Columbia

G5 visa

I'm holding G5 visa for 2 and half months,my employer is international person-holding G4 visa and working for world bank in DC,person hired me for position nanny and housekeeper in household,and sponsoring me for visa,but i'm not happy and i would like to know how to change of status and if there is grace period,also employer is cancelling visa by 07/28/06 and i've been told that if i don't find another employer i have to leave USA and go back to my country Slovakia-Europe,so i want to know if it's true because i don't have any papers and documentation about that and i just don't believe my employer what is talking about,so if you can help me please...thanks

Yes, that's correct, you must find another successor employer with G4 nonimmigration status who is willing to employ you here in the United States or you will have to leave this country.
