Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in District of Columbia

Tubal Ligation

I went to the hospital to have a my labor induced. After several hours of labor and been heavily medicated for pain, my doctor felt it was necessary for me to have a c-section. My doctor insisted on having me to make a decision on having a tubal ligation a this time. Despite several conversations prior to this where I indicated I did not wish to have a steralization done. Do I have a case for medical malpractice for being force to make this decision during this time and being medicated.
