Legal Question in Traffic Law in District of Columbia

I was traveling trough greensborrow, nc. with my little sister 16yrs and my son 2yrs,when i got pulled over for speedind 99mph in a 65mph zone. what is the law,about that.what do i need to do to prepare for the court date.i didnt receive a ticket,just a date for court.

Given the speed you were going, you might consider hiring a local NC traffic attorney to represent you. As I am not a North Carolina attorney, I can't comment on your specific case. However, some states are cracking down on driving violations, in some instances doling out short jail sentences for speeding. If you fail to appear for Court, a warrant for your arrest will likely be issued in North Carolina, so this is not something to ignore.
