we won case in supreme court and plaintiff has thirty days to appeal do they need to let are attorney know in thirty days if they are going to appeal supreme decision

They would need to serve a notice of appeal -- but you can't appeal fron the Supreme Court, unless there is a way to go to the US Supreme Court.
