If a U.S. citizen got married in El Salvador marring a El Salvador woman, is their marriage legel and stand up to in the United States?

If the marriage occurred in and met the legal requirements for marriage in El Salvador, the marriage would be recognized for immigration purposes. You would need to ensure that you have the proper documentation, as required by the Foreign Affairs Manual (the guidelines used by consular officers).
