can I collect 100% service-connected compensation from the va and social sercurity disablility income at the same time?

Yes. As long as the VA disability benefit is service connected, there is no offset for social security disability benefits based on your earnings while employed and paying into social security. If you are applying for SSI, that is a needs based program and is affected by other household income.
