Suing the person in USA from India.

One of my friend (US citizen) was cheated by a US citizen around 400000$.Now my friends father from India wants to sue the cheater guy in USA since his family is cared monitorily and now they are economically suffering..Can He sue and brought the case against the cheater.

Will need more facts, but your friend can certainly sue if there is a legitimate cause of action.

Mr. Stewart is correct. Of course he can sue the "cheater" here in the US where the "cheater" is domiciled, but he should consult with a US attorney regarding the facts and what claims arise.
