Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

Workers Compenstion-Florida-Pay from WC Company

When I was released back to light duty after having surgery from a wc injury, the WC company paid me based on my average weekly wage less the gross amount I was paid from my employer. Is this correct or should I have the ''net'' amount have been deducted-which means I would have received more from the wc company

Normally, since your average weekly wage is calculated on the gross amount, so is any deduction for money paid as wages by the employer subsequent to your accident. To get an answer based upon the specific facts of your case, you should contact a qualified workers compensation attorney
