Personal Bankruptcy should not liquidate your 401(k), unless you are receiving distributions from it, or you are in a chapter 13 payment plan and start taking distributions or take a lump sum.

You should consult with your attorney though before filing to be sure. Your question is void of any facts of your personal situation and the factors are too numerous to really get into on a forum.
