Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida

severe debt

my husband is an MD, whom recently became permanently disabled, we have over $150K in credit card debt and am very concerned with no means to pay. do you recomm debt consolidation vs bankruptcy? Can the credit card co's get liens against our home? which is morg'd. pls help

It depends on what you believe the future will hold. If there is no longer an income source for your family and there are no sources of money to deal with these debts, you may want to look at filing bankruptcy. Alternatively, if you have available money that can be used to settle these debts, you may want to look at debt negotiation as an alternative. With regards to debt consolidation, it is also a possibility, but without further information it is difficult to say which would be your best option.
