Formation of business entities is a very complicated area of the law with many legal, tax, and business implications. The proper entity for your business (corporation, limited liability company, limited liability partnership, etc.) depends on your particular circumstances.

However, you are fortunate in that you are starting from the beginning, which gives you a lot of options. It is much harder (and more expensive) to correct mistakes later on than to avoid them now.
