As a Franchise Attorney I can say the answer is most likely no. Of course, you obviously need a business license, but this is just a matter of visiting City Hall and paying a small fee. If you were doing something that is otherwise a license profession, like consulting on legal issues, that may be the practice of law and require an attorney's license. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
