Can you ask the landlord of your building for compensation for termites coming in and making you lose customers and having to close down to get the termite problem under control they are in charge of the building and the termite control

Although it would seem fair to expect some sort of compensation, the terms of your contract should be reviewed by an attorney to determine your rights and the landlord's responsibility.
