I concur that this cannot be done, either in NJ or in FL. Only licensed and also is good standing can have an interest.

No.

With certain narrow exceptions for lawyers who are leaving the practice of law and the firm, every member of a business organization that practices law in NJ must be a member in good standing of the bar of the State of NJ. Other States follow the same rule.
