Legal Question in Business Law in Florida

I moved from PA to FL and had some issues with the company. Do I sue in FL, where the problems occurred, or in PA where contract was signed?

Likely, the venue should be PA. The contract may require a PA jurisdiction with a

provision that the agreement is to be subject to PA law.

Usually, the best place to sue is the jurisdiction where your defendant has his home. If the defendant is a state-registered entity (a corporation, LLC/LLP or, in some instances, a partnership), sue in the state where the defendant is registered with the Dept. of State ("formed") or has its principal place of business (main offices; they may be somewhere other than the state where the entity is formed, especially if the entity is formed in Delaware or Nevada). If you have a choice, go with the state whose law is most advantageous to you. To determine where the law is most advantageous to you, consult your attorney.
