i have an idea that is guarenteed to boom on the internet. How do i patent it and where do i start?

I wish to be very realistic with you when I let you know that every good, valuable, profitable idea is NOT patentable. The place you start is having a consultation with a patent attorney. He will review where you are with implementing your idea, and he will be able to give you some preliminary pointers.
