Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida

Business Scam

We invested in a business that didn't actually exist along with 4 other families. Basically we got scammed more than 75k. We are trying to track down the people that are responsible for this but also wanted to know what legal actions I could take. Please let me know what my options are and if you could recommend an attorney in FL.

Re: Business Scam

The best advice I could give you is to contat the Attorney Generals office for yours state, file a report and speak to someone there... and then have them assist you in proceeding... this will cost you absolutely nothing, and there very well may be others in your situation as well.

MUCH LUCK!

Re: Business Scam

It sounds as if you have claim for fraud, or violation of the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act or the Florida Sale of Business Opportunities Act. You should consult with a lawyer who is experienced in handling complex commercial matters of this type. You may also want to contact the State Attorney's Office of local police, as it may be criminal fraud. We would be happy to speak to you about the situation. We offer a free initial consultation.
