my wife was baker acted and she need meds that her dr gave her and the ward have not gave them to her i need to know how to get her out

If she has been baker acted than she is involuntarily committed to the hospital. This means only a doctor can release her. If she does not wish to be held then the state will be required to have a hearing within 72 hrs of her commitment to determine if she meets the criteria for a longer term commitment. If they do so determine the only other way to have her released is to file a petition for habeas corpus
