My name is being misused
I did an internet search of my name and found a couple of links to 'customer testimonials' to a company I've never done business with. In the link description (still on the search engine), it states my full name (including maiden), the name of a non-profit organization I was previously involved with, and a comment that I had no part in writing. I have severed all connections with this non-profit organization and due to differences in religious beliefs I would rather no one know that I was ever involved with them (or be under the impression that I still/currently involved with them). However, when you click on the links, they take you to a page that does not have the testimonial listed on it at all. Also, I've attempted to contact the company that has posted this testimonial and requested that they remove the testimonial, and their general response was that ''there must be someone else by that name''. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one by this name. Maybe if they hadn't included my maiden name, or married name, but they included both, which makes it entirely more unique. Please help.

They may do what you want if I send them a demand letter. I'd need to know more facts to know if I can help you.
