Legal Question in Technology Law in Florida

Photography Copyright

Four years ago I helped a former friend start a hunting outfitter buisness.I was the head guide and helped him promote his buisness by printing brochures and distributing them in local sporting goods stores. I used personal Photos of my family and clients with game harvested. Some of my photos also were used on his web site. After 2 years I severed all ties to this outfit due to being cheated out of money for hunts I had guided. Not long after that his operation was shut down and web site taken off line. Was informed yesterday that he has attained a new license and put up a new web site. After viewing the site I discovered he had used 15 of my personal photographs from the past of myself, my family, my clients and wildlife pictures I had taken in years past to currently promote a buisness that I am in no way affiliated with. He does not have my permission to use these photos and has no copyright release from me. I have been a professional photographer for 20 years and there is an implied copyright on my work. What are my legal options and what should I do to prepare to take them if he refuses to remove my photos from his web site?

Thank You
