Legal Question in Technology Law in Florida

Re: Public Message board

This is in responce to Mr. Rose's reply to a question (I didn't see an option to reply back).

The message board is a network that has several boards for various tv shows. I, for one, am not looking to sue anyone, I view this again as just very petty. When people do not agree with certain members, that certain member will usually get verbally abusive, with calling names anywhere from moron to something that would be considered censored words. IMO, its just a bunch of women that resort to juvinile behavior (no offence to any women, I am female myself). The member that I mentioned previously has had many arguments with several members there which included foul language and such. Basically its a bunch of women calling each other foul names. So now this one member has made a post telling everyone that she has started filings for action against anyone that has argued or called her any foul names. I know that has angered many members because they believe she is trying to use intimidation through fear and many members would like to continue posting on this public board, but not be threatened with lawsuits.

Re: Re: Public Message board

Sounds like quite a psycho. Anyway, calling someone names isn't usually defamation. When I said I needed more secifics, I meant examples of what's being said. Maybe you could let the forum administrator know about her and have her banned from the board.
