Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

i bought a used car in saint petersburg, the next day the brakes went bad, then a week later it started to smell and it ran hot and shut off on me..2.22.08 i tried to drive my kids to school and the car wouldnt stop until the last minute..im wondering how could someone sell me a car like this knowing i have kids to take here it was sold to me as is no warranty and she told me if i ever had a problem with it to bring it back and she would look at it and refer me..she never done it. im a 22 year old female i dont kno f any mechanics to have inspected the car before i bought it guess i've been fooled by a car dealer ship that has been around for years! what should or can i do?

Unfortunately, "as is no warranty" means that you are almost certainly out of luck.
