Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

False advertisement?

I have a friend that was looking for a Nissan 350z, when looking he saved all the ones he liked in his favorites on his PC. Him and I were in Tampa,FL one day and stopped by a Nissan dealership. They had the a 350z no price on it nothing, they stated that they had just got it in on trade and that the ''sale'' price was 27,xxx. My friend liked the car and was so caught up in it, that he ended up buying it that day. Today he went online to delete the other 350z's from his favorites and found that was one he had saved. It was the exact one at the exact dealership- But the price was 23,xxx. Would this be an example of false advertisement?

Can he take that advertisement back to the Dealership and demand that price?

Re: False advertisement?

Yes he can and should. But there is no connection between the adv and the purchase. The reason for the purchase had nothing to do with the advertisement.
