credit caed debt
Is my Ira protected, can they seize it? What about automobiles? We own one home, but owe 58,000 on it, can they take it?

As a general rule, an IRA is protected. A homestead is also protected against seizure, though they can place a lien on it. Automobiles can be taken if they have equity.
