Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

i have a debt collector/law firm that has filed a lawsuit against me . The amount of debt is $8000.00 and I have tried reaching them at my earliest convenience , but they have very unusual hours. I have left detailed messages but I dont get any return call. I have sent detailed e-mails and waited 6 days for a response. My messages are very clear , I am willing to pay this debt back , but I need to speak with someone!! I dont see a way out of having to go to court for this. Is there anything I can do?

What is going on in the lawsuit? This matters because there requirements for litigants and if they get ignored, bad things can happen.

Based on the facts, it appears that they are blowing you off and waiting for you to neglect the litigation so they can prevail.

I have seen this before. They call and call and don't stop but after they file a lawsuit, then no negotiations.

Please feel free to follow-up
