Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Final paycheck

To whom it may concern,

I left my old job almost two months ago and I am still waiting for my final pay.

The company I worked for said they are holding my paycheck, because I need to return all company property.

The day I left I placed all my company issued property in my locker. In my letter of regination that I placed on my boss'desk and in the H.R. office I stated this.

I have tried to get this company to mail me my final pay a few times now, but they refuse. Is there anything I can do?

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Re: Final paycheck

You may wish to a)contact the Department of Labor in your area and see if they will help you get your paycheck, or b)bring a small claims action to get your paycheck.
