Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

i have financed a truck in my name for my husband. he has been paying the payments for almost 2 years. we are in the middle of a divorce and i want the truck out of my name, even if it means repo. he refuses to go to bank and refi in his name. can i, by law, take this truck from him, or call the bank and tell them to pick it up? his name is not on the paperwork.

No. If he is the title owner, the truck is his. If you agreed to pay for it, as between you and the bank, the debt is yours.

If they repo the car, your credit is taking a hit. Not a smart thing to do.
