garnish paycheck

we been paying what we can afford each month on our repo van and the collection agency said it is not enough we need to pay more money which we cant afford to.they said if we dont pay more jan 2008 they will garnish my paycheck.are they aloud to do so.

No, if you are the head of your household, Florida law prohibits a creditor from garnishing your paycheck.

If you are the 'head of household' as defined by Florida law or you earn less than the federal minimum income, then the answer is no
