Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

my husband died in May of this year and a hospital in Miami keeps sending bills in his name. I know florida is a non community state and my husband had NO ESTATE. i keep writing them that he is deceased giving them the date he died and the chapel name and address who handled the cremation.

As long as you NEVER Pay them a dime and you DID NOT sign anything saying you would be responsible for his debt - then you are not liable for his bills. Instead of answering their mail send it back with deceased written across the face.
