Judements in FL
A lawsuit has been filed against me in CA, I will not be able to answer this lawsuit due to medical reasons. I reside in FL, what would the creditor need to do for the judgement to be recognized or enforced in FL?

Generally, suit must be filed in county in which you live in these types of cases. Send a letter to the judge asking him to dismiss the suit for this reason and send a copy of it to the other attorney. Make sure you file the letter right away and include the case number.
