state of flordia condo associationrented a unit for me and shorted me in my payment. I have requesed the balance and have not cashed the check as i did not what it to be construed as full payment. the check is not marked payment infull.

If I cash the check and write partial payment or without prejudice do I still reserve my rights to collect the rest of my money?

If you have a written agreement as to the amount they agreed to pay - then cash the check(make a copy of it) and pursue the balance. If they do not pay the balance, take them to small claims court.
