Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Added question to violation of federal probation

Can I be violated for not notifying my P.O before resigning from my employment? If so , what could happen next.

I left my employment to seek a better job opportunity and didn't notify my P.O

Probation length - 3 yrs

Termination - 6 months

Nature of offense - Conspiracy to Embezzle Mail Matter

My P.O. was notified in my monthly report, however it was after the ten day requirement.

Should I seek legal cousel for this issue?

Re: Added question to violation of federal probation

Yes, I would get an attorney to contact your P.O. to see if they intend on violating you. If so, its always better to turn yourself in with your attorney than having to make them find you and arrest you at an embarassing moment. An attorney can help you with a potential bond, if you are going to get violated. Also, an attorney can help convince the P.O. NOT to violate you if they haven't decided yet.
