Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

my boyfriend recently got arrested for a warrant in brevard county where he lived prior to moving upstate to be with me. he was not aware of the warrant and has never been charged OR arrested for the charge stated on the warrant that was issued, which was drug trafficking. i contacted his public defender for a previous case in brevard county and she says she cannot find a warrant out for him in her county, which is where the warrant was issued. what do i do next to avoid him being transfered and to get this figured out?

Contact a bondsman. They have more information than the general public, including the PD, when it comes to warrants. They can tell you the amount, the location, and when it can be expected to be served on him.
