Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

changing the terms of probation

my boyfriend & i are expecting a baby & would like to get married. the only problem is that he is on probation for sexual offenses & not allowed any unsupervised contact with minors under 16. i have 3 children from a prior marriage that are all under the age of 12. what can we do to get the terms of his probation modified enough that would allow us to share the same household? (he has already served 9 years in prison for a crime he did not commit & would like to get on with his life) please advise.

Re: changing the terms of probation

He can petition the Court to modify the terms of probation, to allow him to be around your children. However, I don't like your chances of getting the Court to grant the modification. It would be easier if he can get his probation officer to agree, but I don't like those chances either.
