Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I was charged with drug trafficking and I'm facing 3 yr mm. At the time my father had recently passedbbaway and I was suffering from depression. Can this be considered a mental illness that would warrent a downward departure?

Depression can be a mitigating factor in some crimes. But, drug trafficking? You should certainly discuss it with your attorney.
