What law school did you go to? How many clients have you represented? How long have you known this prosecutor and this judge?

Best question: how are you and "your girl...trying to work things out" when you have a no contact order?

Here's my advice: listen to your lawyer to stay out of jail. If you want a new lawyer, then fine, go get one, but when he or she says the same thing, make sure you listen.
