Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

if drugs are found in the garage of a residence.who goes to jail? the owner, owners adult kids,or all.or can they wait 2 years after owner has died and charge the other occupant.even though when they found the drugs there were 4 adults home in florida

Theoretically, all household members can be ARRESTED and go to jail. That is a huge difference than who can be CONVICTED. The state can proceed on constructive possession but it would be tough to prove for all members of the house knew. Of course, eyewitnesses and admissions will affect all charging decisions by the state. You need to talk to an attorney and give them more facts than you can post on here in order to get a proper answer.
