Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

If an FBI informant laces a marijuana blunt with cocaine then gives the blunt to someone on shrooms because they think it'll make them overdose, is that attempted murder?

Also the person on shrooms doesn't realize that the blunt is laced until after when the informant starts laughing about it. And the informant definitely knew the person was on shrooms. There was also possibly an undercover cop present at the time.

Yes, it could be considered attempted murder if a person does an act that is intended and believed to cause the death of another person but doesn't. It will be difficult to prove what the informant was thinking or believed.
