Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

If the feds dropped a case, but said the state could pick it up, what would be the reasoning in that. Did the feds think it was not worth while?

Could be a lot of reasons, the feds won't pursue. For example, they don't want to expose a CI, or the state charges may mean more time, or the federal charges aren't serious enough for the feds to take their time to do. Either way, I hope you have an attorney because you could still be prosecuted in both state and federal court depending on the circumstances.
