Can my felony be removed off my record?
When I was 17 I was arrested and charged with larceny and burglary of a dwelling. I plead no contest and the adjudacation was withheld. The conviction was withheld. It sits on my juvenile record as a felony arrest. After completion of my probation with no violations my burglary of a dwelling charge was suppose to be lowered to a burglary of a stucture. Well it hasn't. I was wondering what steps do I need to take and can I get these charges removed from my record so I can become a firefighter.

Because of a weird quirk in Florida law, almost no juvenile cases can be sealed, though, had you been prosecuted as an adult, your record could almost certainly be sealed.
The good news is that juvenile records are closed and erased at age 24.
Despite what I've said, though, check with a lawyer who concentrates his or her practice on sealing and expunction to make sure your case doesn't fall into one of the rare exceptions.
