Re: What fines will i recieve

First time offenders typically don't receive jail sentences so it is likely that your case could be resolved with 6-12 months of probation, community service and fines and costs which could approach $500.00. However, you may be eligible to have your case resolved through the pretrial intervention program, the successful completion of which could result in the dismissal of your case. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have additional questions.

I agree with the last writer that you are looking at a probation sentence with a fine in the neighborhood of $500.00. However, I would strongly recommend that you consider applying for the Pretrial Intervention (PTI) program. Not only will the case be dismissed upon your completion of the program, but you will be eligible to have your arrest record sealed or expunged... which could be important down the line if you ever apply for a loan, a job, etc.

I have a good friend in Jax who does criminal defense and if you're interested I am sure he would walk you through the process. You can shoot me an email if you want me to hook you up with him. Its probably a good idea to have someone local to speak to about this.
