Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

i was with three friends and we got pulled over. To make the long story short the cops searched the drivers car and found marijuana less than 1 gram under the front passenger seat where i was siitting. i had no idea it was there and i never admitted to it but i still got a possesion charge. the friend that was driving recieved a DUI for being high( supposidly) and was charged with drug paraphnelia. i was just wondering if i should take this to court or just take the charge. i believe i am innocent becuase i really had no idea it was there i was just getting a ride. since it was not my car is there a chance i can beat this? how does it look for me. I know in florida they can suspend your license if your caught with marijuana. i cant afford to lose my license becuase i go to school full time and i would be stranded wiht out it.

You are charged with what is called "constructive possession" of marijuana. This is so beatable, I don't know why they even arrest anyone for it. Get you a good attorney.
