Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Hello,

Exactly four months ago my husband took my 2002 Pontiac Trans-AM to be painted. The people painting our car will not finish it. After having it for over 2 months they discovered the Fiberglass around the T-Tops was bad and that the paint bubbled up every time they painted it. They ripped the old fiberglass off before knowing if they could find a replacement as Pontiac is out of business and does not make a repair part for this problem. Finally, after calling local junk yards they found a car that they could remove the part from and add it to our car. For some reason they will not complete the car. My husband has made numerous calls to them explaining that we need to have our car back. They always promise to have it ready by a certain day, but when that day comes there is always a new reason why it is not ready. My husband is between a rock and a hard place. If he just goes and gets the car and it is not done then we still have to have someone fix it for us. He wants to go there and blow his stack, but is afraid they will take it out on our car. What should we do? We are at our wits end. We feel like our car is being held hostage. Thank you, Beverly Viafora
