Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

My husband and I want to move to Florida around the Lake City area. But heres the problem my husband is a sex offender here in Oklahoma, he has to register and everything. I was looking into this matter on the inter-net and saw that there was a few unanswered questions that poped up. It said that if we moved into Flordia that his out of state conviction would have be reviewed by a state attorney in the jurusdiction in which the offender wishes to establish a residency theat the court has to review the out of state offenses and determine whether the offender will be classified as a sexual predator inder flordia laws we want to know if this is true.
