In jail for lies

My boyfriend is in jail right now for viol. of an injunction misd. that was filed 2-07 and then his ex-firlfriend dropped the injuction 3-07 and then he caught two other charges in aug. for false imprisonment and dv battery for the same person only because she lied to the police in a jelous rage and under the influence of drugs, she signed a waiver of prosicution and said she lied and was under the influence but he is still in jail and his attorney or the judge seem to not be listening or even lookin at this girl who you can tell is heavly into drugs. My question is what can we do his Mother and I are at our wits end trying to get him out, granted he has been found incompetant but we dont understand why he is still in jail for something he did not do in first place.

Re: In jail for lies

This needs to be vigorously defended and immediately set for trial since it sounds like there is no bond. The victim should be impeached as to her testimony and may recant her initial allegations. Until she does, the State will proceed with prosecution on behalf of the alleged victim.
